Pedals and training wheels hinder the learning process of riding a bike, because children can't focus on the first important step -- how to balance. Instead, they are trying to pedal, brake and balance, all at once. Training wheels prevent the bike from leaning, so kids never experience the feeling of balancing themselves, because the training wheels are doing it for them! The average time a child spends riding with training wheels is two to three years. With Glide Bikes™, kids learn to balance first, with no pedals or training wheels to get in the way. Some children are riding a bike within a day, a week or month. Even after they've learned to ride a pedal bike, they keep coming back to their Glide Bike™, because gliding is the new, fun way to ride! Read what Glide Bikes™ parents have to say!
Unique patented foot pegs give riders a fun way to glide and help train children where to put their feet on a pedal bike. Just try riding a bike without your feet on the pedals(painful)
Glide Bikes™ are constructed of rustproof 6061 Aluminum Alloy, lightweight yet durable and designed to last for years. Since there's nothing to rust, no need to worry if it's left out in the rain!
Extensive product testing shows that the steering limit feature safely prevents the rider from being hit in the chest or head by the handlebars. This feature also prevents the brake cable from becoming twisted. The steering limit does not prevent a full turning radius nor does it hinder a child from graduating to a traditional bicycle.
Gives the rider control and prevents him from dragging his feet (no more worn shoes!)
